Awesome episode. Naruto is alot stronger but even with his move he still gets the crap kicked out of him.

that gave me goosebumps. UGH THOSE JAPANESE! They know how to do shit. I’m actually sad that I wont be able to watch next week’s episode… even though I’ll be in Hawaii! And for once I wanna see someone just take their opponent out in one damn hit… i mean sometimes it’s cool to draw it out for suspense…. but just once – that would be amazing

I kind of like the fact that Shikamaru threw the lighter. It seems to represent Shikamaru saying goodbye to Asuma and letting go of what happened for good. Hehe, or maybe the anime couldn’t get away with portraying kids smoking.

in the manga, shikamaru lights a cigarette and then throws it at hidan and keeps asuma lighter. it was much more cool that way
